Horseshoe Tunica has the reputation of being legendary, and their recent $50,000 guarantee No-Limit Texas Hold’em poker tournament was no exception. One thousand eighty-nine players bet, raised, and folded their way through the tournament which was the largest non-sanctioned Texas hold’em event in Horseshoe Tunica’s history and included a prize pool of $132,011.
Claiming top prize was James Arnold, who won $24,098. Second place went to Thomas Stovall, who pocketed $14,903. Jamie Strickland was the third top money recipient, leaving the game with $11,060.
